# How do scores get entered?

Each event has one score-entry link, and the QR code on the printed game cards opens it on that game. By default anyone holding the link can enter a score: it is printed on the cards and read by whoever is at the field. If you want a wall, turn on the setting that requires a verified email the event recognizes: your directors, your console users, and up to 20 extra addresses you list. Authorized people can also enter scores in the GOAT Tourney app.
